Statewide group uncovers new
donor passion and goes BIG

Challenge:

Loyal donors start raising questions about future plans - or the lack of them. Their questions started a serious questions about the mission and how it could be best carried out in the years to come.

Outcome:

Donor interviews uncovered serious concern about the financial resilience and mission implementation of this 20 year old group. Three possible tracks were created: disband, narrow focus and stay small, or go big. The group chose "go big." This followed by a fast, "insider" campaign to jump start work. Several years later, the group is on the way to fulfilling a $500 million endeavor.
